Problems After Adding Index Page

Recently I started tinkering with a site I’m working on and wanted to do some live changes without showing ’em off. I created an independent index.shtml file to use as a front page so people would come back later. Now, however, when I go to the wp-admin directory, it gives me this error:

Warning: file_get_contents(/home/conbravo/conbravo/inde.shtml) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/conbravo/conbravo/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 12

What’s going on here? I’m deeply confused by this and have no idea how to fix it. This is somewhat time sensitive too, as I have two weeks to finish the design and implement the changes, so any help would be deeply appreciated.
