After eliminating other possible plugins, I have found that I have to disable the latest version of your plugin 3.5.0. It caused the above web page to hang, and also my Cacheing plugin in WordPress Admin to hang, and my Google Analytics dashboard plugin to not function.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi – According to my ISP Hostgator
The system’s default version of PHP is 5.4
You’re currently configured to use PHP 5.4

I’ve deactivated your plugin on all the websites I manage until these problems are addressed. Do you anticipate a new release soon?

@prettybiddy, are you able to get Hostgator to upgrade your version of PHP? According to this article, they have PHP selector in CPanel which should allow you to change your PHP version. I’d suggest 5.6 or above.

Hi Brandon – I have updated the PHP version in the selector in Hostgator CPanel as you suggested to version 5.6 but there are still the same problems as I noted before when I added this thread. And now additionally there is a popup error message in the WP admin panel – Error Internal Server error Status:500
So I deactivated your plugin again.

    Hi @prettybiddy
K, so maybe this could be the best way now is going to downgrade BackWPUp to older 3.4.5 version 🙁
Please install a plugin called WP Rollback(https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-rollback/), after that, go to plugin list -> find BackWPUp and press Roll back to the 3.4.5 version

We currently try to fix it and going to release the new fixed version as soon as possible
Sorry again for all the troubles you got 🙁

Hello – Thank you for the tip! I have rolled back your plugin to version 3.4.5 in my websites that have auto-updated to 3.5. Now I can actually back up the websites again :-).
