Problems after migration to Google Cloud Compute Engine

Hello,

After migration to Google Cloud Compute Engine (WordPress Deployment) from shared server – Autoptimize is not working properly. It destroys whole page as soon as I check JS or CSS option – it seems to be ignoring exclusions. I turned it off for now as page is available online, but I would like to use Autoptimize. It worked flawelessly on old server, stopped working after migration, so I guess it can be related to e.g. permissions or new WordPress path. I migrated website manually.

do you have a staging site where you could leave things broken szrdevwp ?

OK, the Autoptimized files (e.g. view-source:https://shezamme.com/shezamme-ao/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/js/autoptimize_e78953349d94272ccd3e9f6d2b660f1a.js) are not getting served. Can you check with a file manager if the files are there?

and also new ones, or only the ones you brought over when migrating?

The new ones – I deleted everything, so they were created yesterday.

in that case something is blocking the Google webserver access to those files, maybe filesystem permissions? or webserver config somewhere somehow?

I guess permissions are right, even tried 777 and it did not change anything. Everything else is working, so I don’t know what is causing that problem.

Gonna make another site soon with fresh install and same server settings, maybe that will point up something for me.

might there be a problem with wp-content/cache/autoptimize/.htaccess somehow ? can you try emptying the file (not removing it or it will get regenerated) ?

Well, it worked on staging site – and did not on normal one. Gonna search deeper and try to make it work.

did you manage to also get it working on the main site in the end szrdevwp ?
