• Since moving a WordPress site over to a live environment NextGEN is still trying to access some CSS/JS files that are located on the previous development server.

Now, I know you can change these by going to Other Options > Lightbox Effects > Advanced. However, since moving the site over, whenever I click save to rectify the CSS/JS problem, it goes to the templates error/404 page. (I checked on the dev version of the site and I can save the settings on there)

    Any help is appreciated.

@hazzz – in rare cases you may need to have a look at the following script: https://gist.github.com/deltafactory/6789297

Please make sure you have a back-up of the site before even considering this, but there have been some successes with sorting out “internal” URL entries with its use.

See this topic for the origins of the script: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/nextgen-is-requesting-the-wrong-url-adress?replies=12

    Thanks for the reply.

I’ve already come across that script and used it. Still no luck. For some reason under the [css_stylesheets] and [scripts] section of that script, it still shows the old URL on the before and after sections.

That script also prompted me to search the database for those fields and I found some with the old URL in under wp_postmeta. Changing those over still have no effect.

I’m completely stumped as to where NGG is getting these old URL values from. I’ve searched the database and there is nothing left other than the GUIDs, which you’re not suppose to change…

I’m also puzzled by the fact that I can’t change the URL straight from the interface in the first place since moving the site over to the live environment.

@hazzz – Would you mind submitting a Bug Report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can help you sort this out?

We will likely need a set of WordPress log in and FTP credentials, please include those with the Bug Report, too.

    Thanks!
