    Hi,

After purchasing a one time credit I optimised various websites most using the WebP option.

Having used up the one time credit and this plan no longer being offered by Imagify I now find all websites running the plugin are no longer able to upload photos to the media gallery.

Also when I disable the plugin various images disappear on my websites (presumably the ones converted to WebP which is breaking my websites.

What is the best and safest way to step back using WebP so my images are optimised without WebP to enable me to disable the plugin without breaking all my websites.

    Thanks.

    Hi @ozbutcher78

Thanks for your patience and sorry to hear about the issue!

This is definitely not supposed to happen, neither if you used all of your quota or (especially) if you deactivate the plugin.

Do you get any specific error when uploading images to the site?

Also, when images are missing, can you check the path to these and then:

    – check in your Media Library – do these images exist in there?
    – check via FTP if these images are physically available in wp-content/uploads/… folder?

Based on this, we can suggest the next step.

In fact – deactivating Imagify (or WebP display option only) would fix the issue if it was related to WebP (make sure to clear all caches including CDN/Cloudflare if you use it).

To repeat myself – this should not be related to your quota usage and to our plans change.

Please let me know if this helps. I am happy to help further.

    Best Regards
    Marko
