Problems connecting existing posts

I am trying to link existing posts. Despite having clicked on “make all existing posts by default German”, all of them are defined as “all language”. Even when I try to manually set the page ‘Verkauft’ to German, and ‘Sold’ to English, I am unable to connect these two pages. It keeps switching around, offering me ‘Sold de’ as alternative. It’s a mess.
Is there a way to fix it?
