I already had all the other pages in place I just added a new page called blog.
In your site dashboard, under the Settings menu item, go to Reading.
Select the “A static page (select below)” radio button, and assign what page you want to be your home page and what page you want to be your posts/blog page.
Can you provide a link to the site in question?
My apologies; missed it as it wasn’t hyperlinked.
So yes, looking at the template tags, it is indeed set to be the blog page. It seems like it’s having an issue finding any posts; how many do you have published on the site?
It could perhaps be a permalink issue; you could try regenerating them by going to Settings -> Permalinks and just clicking the Save Changes button at the bottom.
I don’t have any published. The content that is showing was the original home page I created. Then I deleted that one and created another one. Now that original home page content is showing on the blog page live but not in the edit page.
Your suggestion did not work.
might be caused by the used cache plugin:
<!-- Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2014-06-30 09:35:03 -->
while developing your site, try to deactivate or flush the cache.
That worked for a minute and when I logged back in the page was back.
I tried my site on IE & Firefox and they are both fine. I cleared the cache but it is still there in chrome.
It’s something inside the admin of wordpress. When I log-in on any browser I have the same problem.
