problems customising GiveWP

Have been running CharitableWP. Trying out GiveWP. I want to make minor CSS changes to the donation form. All indications are that the the appropriate css file is plugins/assets/dist/give-seq..-templates.css. My inspect and sleuthing suggest that is right. However when changes are made in the CSS and the CSS updated, caches purged ++ it does not change the form and the CSS that is loaded by the browser according to “inspect” has not changed.
Ive tried changing other possible CSS available in WP “plugin Editor” and also in the files at the website host but no effect. I am not an expert by any means but I have changed many plugins before including for Charitable and for the theme of my website successfully, but this has got me beat.
