• Someone posted a comment on one of my blog entries using their facebook profile to comment. The post is extremely hateful in nature and I want to delete it. However, on the same page that the comment is displayed, it says “no comments” at the top of the page, underneath the title. When I log into my blog to delete it, it doesn’t show up there. I have my blog set to notify me whenever I receive a comment, and I did not receive notification of this one, hence it has been there for over a month without me knowing. How do I get rid of this? I considered deleting the entire post and reposting it, but if it happens on another post that has other comments, I don’t want to lose the comments. Please help. Here’s the page:

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

I deactivated the plug-in that connected facebook to my blog and it worked. Thank you!

    Excellent! 🙂
