    I’ve been a web developer for over 20 years and since before WordPress. I don’t know why I keep trying to use this plugin as I have issues every single time & always end up losing a lot money/time. I’ve used it dozens of times on dozens of websites. Have never had it work properly without doing backflips and having to reconfigure settings or try 100 times before it works. I thought maybe they would have fixed all the issues but no, I give up again and using an alternative. Sorry to complain about a free plugin but it’s not free when it costs me hours of wasted time. Thanks.

    Update Nov 2025 – OMG, still don’t know why I keep trying use this heap of shit. I am just trying to do a backup before a WP Core Update and every attempt gives an error. Even just trying to backup DB alone, it keeps getting stuck at 22 or 24%. WP Core Update is a 10 second click of a button, backing up first with Duplicator is half a day of frustration. To stop a munted backup running, the actual instructions are “To stop or reset this Backup build goto Settings > Advanced > Reset Backups”. There is no f’n Advanced tab in settings. Had to work out how to stop all the shit backups a different way.
