Problems logging in to wp admin

    They have *nothing* to do with each other.

    Thank you so much. I have tried method 3 using phpMyAdmin interface and I’ve managed to reset the password. However, I realised the email address I was formerly using is no longer active, so I tried to change it. Also changed the user login and display name to something that is easier to remember. Upon changing the above items, I had problems logging in again. 🙁

    Is there something I had done wrongly? Do I also select “MD5” from the dropdown menu to change all the items above?

    You only use MD5 to set the password.

    How can I reset the email address, login & display name? What do I select in the dropdown box? Thanks.

    Thank you Steven. I think it’s all fine now. When I logged in to the wp admin, it says the site is not secure. How can I change it to a secure site? Anything I need to do in the cpanel etc?
