I also specify that all other e-mails coming directly from WordPress or other plugins installed on WordPress arrive correctly.
Hi @marco17,
I hope this message finds you well.
To investigate the issue, I imported the provided form to a test website on my end but was unable to replicate the problem. The notification emails were sent without any issues, and I received them in my inbox.
Forminator uses the default WordPress email function, ‘wp_mail(), to send the notifications. Since general WordPress emails are working fine, the notification emails from Forminator should also work correctly. Could you please try using an email log plugin to check if the emails are being generated by WordPress?

Please let us know the results so that we can help you further.
Kind Regards,
Nebu John
I used the email checker plugin and I correctly received an email saying “This test email proves that your WordPress installation at https://www.starfinder.it can send emails.”
I want to point out that I kept receiving notification from Forminator without any issues until 2nd of July, when the plugin got updated.
Moreover, I’m use this plugin also on another website http://www.starlabor.it/contatti and I have the same issue even there. Again starting from 2nd of July.
I also tried to reset the password on my account and I correctly received the notfication email from wordrpress. What should I do?
Hi @marco17,
Hope this message finds you well.
Could you downgrade Forminator version to 1.31.0? You will find the previous versions at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/forminator/advanced/ on the bottom, and using the WP Plugins manager, you should be able to downgrade by “installing” (replacing) the previous version till July 2nd.
Let us know if the issue persists after the downgrade.
Best regards,
Laura
Hello @marco17,
I hope you’re doing great!
As we haven’t heard back from you for some time, I’ll be marking this topic as resolved for now. Please feel free to reply in case you have further questions.
Best Regards,
Dmytro
Hi Dmytro, sorry for the late reply but we were closed last week. We tried to downgrade but it still doesn’t work, not even with the version before we received the last email from the form.
I am waiting for directions,
Marco
Hi @marco17
I see you mentioned you do not use any SMTP plugin, but I cannot see if you make a test with any SMTP plugin and see if that helps. Please note that Forminator is not responsible for sending emails, but WP core and your hosting by using the wp_mail() function.
Depending on hosting settings or changes sometimes you will need additional plugins like SMTP:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/
Please test it and let us know about the results.
Kind Regards,
Kris
OK, we managed to figure out what was not working. By installing the SMTP plugin that you recommended, the emails started working normally again.
However, when we checked the settings in Forminator, we realised that in the General Settings under “From Headers” the following address “[email protected]” was shown, which had worked until the end of June.
By removing the “www.” and leaving only “[email protected]” as the address, everything worked normally again.
Thanks for the support!
