Problems right-aligning widget in header

Hi – I have used posts in this forum about how to add a widget to the Customizr header and it’s worked great. I need to create a login button for a website I’m building, so I created a button using the wpi designer plug in and put it in this new header widget I’d created. I created a child-theme using Child Theme configurator, and was able to get the widget to float right the way I wanted. But – then when I make one more change to the header settings, the right float on the widget stops working. I’ve cleared my cache. I know the css is right – but it just isn’t working any more.
