Problems uploading Platform 1.0.8 theme for wordpress

I have been experiencing difficulty uploading the Platform 1.0.8 theme to my wordpress blog. Initially, I tried to “install” the platform theme directly from the wordpress “install themes” menu/list. I would click the “install” button which would then redirect me to a wordpress window that would state “installing platform package http:…” The window would just stay that way and nothing would happen.

Next, I downloaded platform 1.0.8 from the internet and opened the file using EasyZip2000 and used Filezilla to FTP the platform folder to the wordpress themes folder. Once that process was complete I checked the wordpress dashboard – appearances – themes to get the following message: (note: I have tried the FTP three times getting the same message each time)

core stylesheet is missing
css stylesheet is missing
images stylesheet is missing
js stylesheet is missing
language stylesheet is missing
sections stylesheet is missing

Thanks in advice for any advice as to how to get the platform theme uploaded correctly and active.
