• Hello

I already install the multisite wordpress and the first trys i have some problems, but i reinstall the wordpress and i think this time i do ok.

I m using subdomain for the multisite and my goal whit this multisite wordpress is to my clients publish an ad and it show in all my websites inside the network.

Now i have already install the network, but when i active a plugin inside the network, the plugins just appear in my main website (where i install the network), but not in the subdomain.

How i can solve this problem?

PD: I have access from the network server to the subdomain but i cannot modify like super admin or dont know how to know if its correctly installed.

I m from Ecuador and i talk spanish, sorry for my english..

    Regards

    AR.

Hello, i do what you suggest and it work!!!, now i can see the plugins what the network share, but now i have 2 problems….

The first one is: where are the folder of the subdomain to respotre my backup files.

The 2nd one is why the plugins dont share the information of the network and just the plugin whitout info…?

I think the 1st problem is relevant because my site is online whit no theme and no info, how i restore my files back?

    Thanks for you help!

where are the folder of the subdomain to respotre my backup files.

The folders are basically “merged” with the main site. There’s one single code-base for everything. You’ll see that there’s changes in your wp-content/uploads/ folder to accomodate the multiple sites.

The 2nd one is why the plugins dont share the information of the network and just the plugin whitout info…?

That’s becuase the two sites are separate entities and don’t share anything more than users. Some plugins may allow cross-network settings, but most won’t work that way and need each site to be set up independantly.
