Problems with Amazon’s 429 errors

Hi all! I operate q quite extensive site with lot’s of links. As I talk at length about literature, many links point towards Amazon in its different flavours, mainly amazon.fr and amazon.de. For some months now, I have been witnessing an increasingly annoying behaviour. More and more links to amazon are reported as 429 errors and subsequently barred although they are still working perfectly. When I take a look at the HTML-output, it tells me that, for automated access to amazon’s site, I should contact the API-team.
Is there any way to resolve this ?
