    Hi Thom

I have the latest version of File Away (3.4). The fix for unicode characters in this version works fine. However I’m confronted with a siuation where foldernames contains apostrophes. When this is the case, the folder doesn’t open, when you click it sort of “resets” the page and it returns to the startposition.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I’m not able to duplicate this problem. See attached screenshot. Are you using a special apostrophe? (PS, don’t try to rename a directory with an apostrophe at the moment using Manager Mode. It will add a backslash to the directory name that will make it difficult to undo on your server. This will be fixed in 3.5, the backslash renaming issue.) But I can navigate to folders with apostrophes just fine. See screenshot.

I uploaded 3.5 and fixed the backslash issue, but forgot to mention it in the changelog. Let me know what’s up with your apostrophes because they work fine for me.

    Hi Thom

I type the apostrophe with a Apple keyboard (azerty). There seems to be a difference between ’ and ‘

I now copied the other apostrophe into the folder name and it works fine now. I’m gonna have to find out how I can type the right apostrophe with my keyboard 🙂

    Thanks again for the support!

Yeah it looks like the Apple keyboard in some languages uses a unicode character for the apostrophe, rather than a plain text. On your server, this will actually probably look like this: @€
