The url should include the full path to the page, as in http://site.org/events/?cm=06&cy=2011
Do you have permalinks enabled on this site?
I’m having this problem as well and also the problem where I get a 404 Error when clicking the “RSVP Now” button from the list of events. I’ve checked permalinks, ticked the checkbox for permalink adjustment and tried reinstalling several different ways.
I’m still working on it myself, but I thought I’d mention that I’m having the same type of trouble others have described here and elsewhere in case you had any updated tips.
Thank you for your work on this plugin. It seems like the perfect scheduling solution for a community volunteer group I’m working with.
Sarahda, Do you have a test events listing page you can share for me to look at? You might also want to send me a screen shot of your RSVPMaker settings page at [email protected] so I can see if that tells me anything.
The events list is http://www.phillyspice.com/capitolovolunteers/?page_id=4. The calendar is http://www.phillyspice.com/capitolovolunteers/?page_id=6
Just sent you a screenshot of the settings page as well. Thanks very much! I’m still having no luck on my own.
I’ve just gotten this to work. What I wasn’t understanding was that you don’t need to just permalinks enable, you need to have permalinks that have a directory structure enabled.
On my site, the default permalinks are as listed above – right from the root directory. Once I changed it to a permalink structure that has subdirectories – i.e. events list http://www.phillyspice.com/capitolovolunteers/shift-list/ and calendar http://www.phillyspice.com/capitolovolunteers/calendar/ I had no problems.
