Problems with changing the Alerts

Hello, I don’t know whether this will be answered as it looks as if nobody is responding to support questions.

I’ve lately noticed a problem with login to Woocommerce My-Account page and I’ve tracked it down to this plugin. Specifically, if I leave the alerts on 5 per hour (which is no use as it’s a busy membership) then the login works quickly. Submit and boom the account dash comes up. Howver if I change tha alerts to any other amount (I normally had it set on 80) then it takes 3 times linger for the login.

Is there a workaround for this?

I use this plugin mainly for the scanner and the alerts and don’t want to have to abandon it for another one that gives reasonable activity alerts.

ETA: for some weird reason it has suddenly started behaving when I switched various settings on and off and reset things. Hopefully it will stay like this as I’d hate to lose it.
