You didn’t mention this part, which appears on single post pages:
“Sorry the comment area are closed or not available for non registered member”
As I don’t see a registration option on your site, I assume these people are not members of your blog. So check the “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” setting under Options > General, Membership.
Thanks,
I looked for that option, and found it was already checked.
I don’t necessarily want ‘member’s or want people to register to comment, just a name and email will do for now, so I have unchecked the “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” and the comment function appears to be working.

Hi,
I am having trouble with the comment function on my blog:
http://littledrummergal.com
If I am logged in as the administrator I can comment, however no one else can.
Under options > discussion I have the following checked:
* Attempt to notify any blogs linked to from the article (slows down posting.)
* Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks.)
* Allow people to post comments on the article
E-mail me whenever:
* Anyone posts a comment
* A comment is held for moderation
Before a comment appears:
* An administrator must always approve the comment
* Comment author must fill out name and e-mail
So as far as I can see people should be able to comment but the people who have tried cannot.
Is there something else I can check?
Thanks,
