    Hi mauriziocrisanti,
the counter in your website still using the older version of the plugin (older versions don’t work anymore with Facebook counter).

Usually this is due to the cache (I noticed that you are using CloudFlare).
Try to re-clear the cache or wait a few hours, the cache should automatically clear themselves.

I have 2.5.8 version. How could I upgrade it?

You already have the latest version (2.5.8) but the cache still “using” the old version.
For this reason I said to try to re-clear the cache or wait a few hours and the cache should automatically clear themselves.

PS: now it works for me but I had to clear the browser cache and cookies 🙂

Looks like Facebook shares show only when you’re logged into a Facebook account at that moment. Could you please double check it? many plugins have been asking to create an FB app after recent changes by Facebook.

    Hi Rahul,
I used Google Chrome in incognito mode (no login to Facebook) and it works.

Anyway, even our plugin will be updated with the possibility to add the APP ID in the next version.
But up until now Facebook has not said anything official about the APP ID but only as a precaution, in case Facebook (in future) requires this code compulsorily.

    Hi everyone,

I stumbled upon a very interesting article about using a FB App with sharing plugins to obtain more information about shares, which is something I would have really liked when our first post got sort of viral. I have no data about these interactions except the raw numbers.

So I immediately took all necessary steps to utilize our FB App (which is effectively our website) and entered the info in CSSC. Does this automatically mean that the App will be used by CSSC? I notice no difference in the sharing popup.

    Best,
    Manuel
