I have two problems when I use IE to load my site. One is that the right hand sidebar’s width is skewed. The second is that there is an error on the page. I have received a message from a BlogExplosion user that my page cannot load on BE as well. I have suspected that to be the case, and now am glad that someone has actually told me that. Can someone help me to troubleshoot?

First, fix your validation error. The whole thing won’t even validate.

Blaming IE is fine, but this is just a friendly warning to validate your own boo boos before placing blame ;-). Goes for everyone.

Oh, no… not my intention to blame IE. What I am saying is that in IE I have a problem, but I am not sure what the problem is, and how to fix it. Thanks for pointing out the validation error. I don’t have a clue how to fix it. I will try to search for that line 254, but line 254 of which document? I am still a clueless hacker when it comes to php or wordpress. I appreciate any pointers anyone can give! Thanks!

Line 254 refers to the source code of the validated page (use view source in your browser to find it)

Thanks! I am doing it right now. Wow! So many errors! Hee-hee! Wish me luck!

I am disheartened. Some of the error messages have got me be-fuddled. I guess I might have to start all over again with my site. This is getting to be no longer fun!

For those who understand what all those error messages are about, can you please let me know if any are fatal that causes the problems I have with IE? I am at a lost of knowing how to fix all of them, and wonder if I only fix the most damaging ones it would get rid of the errors I encounter with IE (ie, width problem with right sidebar, and errors reported on page).

    Thanks!
