Problems with image selection, no library and error when uploading

    I’ve recently started using WP and ran into a problem when trying to upload images and set them as featured. When I upload an image using the “set image” window, it says “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later”. The image does show up in the library, however. Another problem is with the library: I can’t see it from the image selection window in posts.
    I’ve googled this problem and have found several similar problems on this forum but no solution that worked for me. I’ve checked if ‘featured image’ was enabled in screen options. I’ve reinstalled WP. I’ve tried using both Chrome and Firefox. Nothing. The problem is not in the theme, but in the control panel, so I haven’t included a link to my site.

    Update: after reinstalling I noticed this did not happen right away. WP only ‘broke’ after my first uploads of images. I managed to get 3 up, and then I suddenly couldn’t see my library any more, and so forth.

    WPyogi: Minimatica. And that indeed seems to have been the source of the problem. I think I’ve found the solution over here. Seems to be working fine now, I will mark this topic as resolved.
