I updated Jetpack to the latest version a few days ago. Now I can’t access stats, and email versions of my posts have the photos stripped out. Any idea how to correct this?

    Hey @dkennedy56,

It looks like you’ve got an issue with your Jetpack connection. This can happen sometimes. Let’s start with a fresh install of the plugin and see where that gets us. The steps in this article should take you through the whole process: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/

Swish, that seems to have done it. Thank you. I deleted Jetpack, Jetpack Boost and Jetpack CRM (which I had already deactivated and don’t need). Should I reinstall Jetpack Boost?

    Hi there, @dkennedy56,

To re-enable all the features you mentioned in your initial message, you need to reinstall the Jetpack core plugin, and connect it – we have some instructions here: https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/#install-jetpack

You’re also welcome to reinstall Boost if you want to use its additional features: https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-boost/

To stay on the safe side, I’d suggest setting up the Jetpack core plugin first.

Let me know how it goes and if you get stuck at any step, just let us know and we’ll be glad to help.

Stef, I did reinstall Jetpack, and all seems to be well. I think my problems started when I upgraded Jetpack Boost to 4.0.0. I may wait until I see that a maintenance upgrade or two has been added.

    Hi there, @dkennedy56,

Thanks for confirming that all seems to be working okay with the Jetpack core plugin – that’s certainly great news to hear 🙂

As for the Boost plugin, if you want to test that around, you can create a staging site and install it in there: if it gets any issues, you can see it in the staging site and we can investigate on that without affecting your production site.

Many hosts provide a staging service, where you can do testing without affecting the live site. You can ask your host about this. If they don’t give you a staging site, you could try WP Staging or Duplicator:

    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-staging/
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/duplicator/

If you decide to try these tests, let us know what you find, and we can go from there. Otherwise, if you’re comfortable waiting a little while to reinstall it, that’s fine too 🙂
