    Hi,

I had some issue with the plugin when fiiltering a loop grid that had pagination active with pages.

When clicking on a filter, say choosing a category, the number of pages changed accordingly (passing from 4 to 2 for example). But when clicking on the second page it was sending me to my homepage with a link strange link like this ending with page/2/?paged=2

Fortunately/Unfortunately it is a live site that I need working so I managed to solve the issue by passing to Infinite scroll as pagination methos, so I can’t show you the problem. Let me know if you can’t replicate the issue I’ll try to build an alternate page for you that you can see.

If you need some other info: /corsi/ is not a page but a Custom Post Type archive page created with ACF. Categories and Zones are Custom Taxonomies associated to that Post Type.

Plugin is great, everything works super great except for that pagination issue!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi hellfiremichi (@hellfiremichi),

Thanks for reporting this issue. I appreciate the detailed explanation. I’ll try to reproduce the problem on my side and work on a fix. To be 100% sure, it would be really helpful if you could set up an unlisted page showing the issue, so I can check which loop grid pagination settings might be causing it.

I’ll keep you updated once I have more info and add the fix to the upcoming release.

    Regards,
    Dara

    Hi,

thank you for the quick answer! Here is a test page where you can see the error:

    https://luccadigital.it/corsi-test/

I thought it was a bit rude to not provide one, so I made it immediately after.

Thank you for setting up the test page so quickly. I’ve checked it and was able to pinpoint the issue with the pagination. The CSS class pagination-filter that should be applied to the pagination post-filtering was missing, this might be due to a recent change in Elementor’s classes. I’ll make sure it’s correctly applied in the filter script.

    Really appreciate your quick help.

    Hi hellfiremichi (@hellfiremichi),

I have a hotfix ready (v1.8.1) that addresses the pagination issue you encountered. You can download and apply it immediately here:

    Download v1.8.1: https://wpsmartwidgets.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/better-post-filter-widgets-for-elementor.zip.

This should resolve the issue on your site. The version will also be published soon on WordPress.

In the meantime, let me know if there’s anything else I can help with.

    Hi @hellfiremichi,

The pagination issue you reported has been addressed in the v1.8.2. The Loop Grid numbered pagination should now work correctly after filtering.

With this update released, I’ll be closing this thread. Feel free to open a new one if you encounter any other issues or need further assistance.

    Regards,
    Dara
