What are you using to password protect pages? Is there any redirection being used?

I’m using the built-in function when you create a page where you set the visibility to private or password protected in the in the right hand corner. Is there other ways and why doesen’t tjis work?
It works, bu I don’t think it has the redirect option, meaning keeping you on the page you are on or going to a specific page. Both of these options give you that ability, either to take back to referrer page or another of your choice.

I’m not sure I understand What you mean. Should it be able to work if I do it the way I described? Or do I have to use a plugin?

You don’t need it, and I just tested on a test site I have and it kept me logged into the same page that was password protected. What other plugins or features have you added?

I have Breadcrumb NavXT, Contact Form 7, Lightbox 2, Multi-level Navigation Plugin, Random File, Really Simple CAPTCHA, Remove Title Attributes, SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam, WordPress Importer and WP jQuery File Tree installed.
I’m thinkin, right now the site is not really located in “the right place”. I’m in the middle of moving the domain to another web hosting and I’m visiting and editing the site via dns. I’m not sure how it works, but I have to add loopiadns.com right after my own domain to view it. Could that be the problem?
