We looked into this issue but weren’t able to replicate the problem. Can you confirm that you’re updated to the latest version?

Same issue here on chaninicholas.com — excerpts being pulled by Beaver Builder posts module (old plugin worked fine here)

Yes, updated to the latest version of the plugin and WP.
Turning the “Include in Excerpts” ON is not only NOT showing in excerpts, but for some reason is displaying the buttons at the bottom of our home page?
Hey @mattdotcom and @jeremylockhart. The newest update 1.0.3 should fix all of your issues. I apologize for the inconvenience it seems our excerpt fix never made it to our update until now.
