Hi,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
I see some 404 error automatically indexed on your website, though it seems to be subfolders that have no importance regarding SEO. What do you have when you click on the referrer?
Cheers,
Hello JoomUnited,
Thanks for your response.
However, I have attached the following screenshots to indicate what happens when I click on the ‘Referrer’links:
1) https://prnt.sc/7Zi28DlyIGvE
2) https://prnt.sc/zrNF7FcuqJs3
3) https://prnt.sc/c27vTV_Iddj7
4) https://prnt.sc/fB29KJyn9K4J
Please note that these REDIRECTS keep loading up all the time EVEN WHEN I DELETE THEM MANUALLY!
Ques: Why is this happening and how can I delete ALL of these links permanently?
Regards,
Josieann
Hi,
No worries, for the folders you have listed in your screenshots, it’s just automatic bot or search engines crawlers that find usual folders on your server, this is not real users that encounters real 404 errors.
If you delete them, they’ll keep coming back with different URLs. If you check you’ll also see that behavior in the Google Search Console > URL index. What you need to do is check the number of 404 hits, if the number is high on a certain URL, it may indicate a real 404 error for real users; otherwise you can flush them once you’ve finished the check.
Cheers,
