• My client reported that after an auto upgrade to WordPress, an error page displayed instead of processing orders on their shop. I logged in and found lots of updates needed, a new WordPress upgrade to 4.3.1 and WP Ecommerce itself needing updating. I performed the updates to the latest versions and now, when going through the order process, when you click the Purchase button, it says ‘Please select one of the available shipping options, then we can process your order.’. There is only one shipping option available and no visible means of checking it, and there is no way of moving further through the checkout process.
    I see there is another thread about this, but the problem seems slightly different. I have flushed the theme, changed to a default WordPress theme and deactivated all other plugins to no avail.

    Can anyone help?

  • Hey there,
    Make sure the WP eCommerce theme files are up to date if you are using them.
    Go at Store -> Presentation and see on the right site which theme files are copied to your theme folder.
    If the checkout file is copied then rename it in the active theme and try a refresh.

    When you’re in the shipping tab, are the options that you originally had in there still checked or are they now unchecked?

    If you check them again, does your shipping selection in the checkout now work?

    Many thanks to both of you for your quick responses. Unfortunately, I inherited this site and have not used WP Ecommerce before, thus I am unsure as to what the original shipping options were, although they are only set up by weight and those options are completed, so I believe all is as it should be. On the theme files, the checkout file is there. When you say rename it, do you mean through FTP?
