Problems with speciific theme element

    My problem Is I can extensivly edit a theme, but cannot create one from scratch.

    I am trying to convert http://source.bungie.org/ to WordPress, I started with K2 becouse of its many built in features but trying to mod it to look like the old theme has been a mess.

    The only thing I really need is a sidebar on the mainpage but not individual pages, can anyone link me a basic modable theme like this or the address to a themeing guide

    are you trying to add a left side bar to the theme at your url ?

    No, I am trying to port that theme to a wordpress template (that is now wordpress), I am looking for a downloadable theme with a right sidebar, but only on the news page (or a way to reach this soluton, like a guide)

    The other way around: that template into a WP theme. 🙂
    Find a 2 column, flxible content theme (not K2!) and work from that one.
