    Did you check the calendar ID’s?

    @silvergranen,

    Have you updated to the latest version? If you are still using an old version of the plugin then it will not work since Google v2 API has been dropped. You will need at least 2.1.0+ of the plugin in order for us to get it working for you. Can you confirm if you have updated or not? I will be glad to help you with anything along the way.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for your replies!

    Hmm, it looks like version 0.7.2 that must be pretty old? The strange thing is that there is not updaeinfo about new version in wp (as there is about other plugins)

    Do I need to reinstall the plugin ?

    Yes.

    I had the same problem — there was no message in my plugins list telling me that there was an update available. (Now that I’ve got the reincarnated plugin installed, I do get the Update notice whenever the developers push out a new version.)

    Silvergranen, please make sure you read the new documentation (where it says “FAQ”).

    Thanks! Now I downloaded the update. Do I need to unsitall the current version and upload the latest. Or is there an easier way to do the upgrade? (directly in wp)

    You can try going to “Dashboard > Updates” and then click the “Check Again” button to see if it will refresh with the latest version.

    If not then you would need to go to your FTP and remove the old files and then upload the new files.

    I’m not certain this would work, but maybe you could try “add new plugin” and search for this plugin. See if the version you are offered is different from the one you have installed.

    Thanks! Now I actually managed to update the GCal Events plugin. I needed to upgrade wordpress first. Now I installed latest GCAL Plugin and added the API key and the GCAL api adress.

    The feeds that was there befor are still visible but in the widget I get this message:

    Some data was retrieved, but could not be parsed successfully. Please ensure your feed settings are correct.
    Back
    Next
    No events to display.

    Do I need to clear the feeds and add again?

    I tried to add a new event in GCAL but then I get the message as above (could not be parsed succesfully)

    although I now realise we have different widget with different feeds, and the other works fine. so its one of the GCAL feeds that dont’t work correctly.

    Ok – now I’m gettin it to work more properly.

    Although I need to use the back/forward links to find the next event. It’s not listed directly-which settings should I change?

    Its the right widget on the starting page:

    @silvergranen,

    You might try changing it show the next X events, instead of X days.

    (@silvergranen)

    No doesnt help. I also tried to disable the next/previous links i the widget. But they dont dissapear. So seem to be some generel problem with the plugin.
    I also upgraded to latest version.

    @silvergranen,

    You will need to make sure that the Disable paging links is also set correctly in the feed settings, not just the widget. It inherits everything from there and then overwrites any changes on the widget.

    As far as the event not showing up I think there may be a bug with showing the next X events, so I will be looking into that.

    Thanks for you patience I will update you as soon as I have more information.
