My bad, I forget to re-add the strip_shortcodes(), it will be fixed in next update.

In the meantime, you can use new filters as the following example does :

add_filter('jm_tc_get_excerpt','jm_tc_strip_sc');
function jm_tc_strip_sc( $content ){
  return strip_shortcodes( $content );
}
