Problems with WordPress and my page

Hi, I just started using wordpress for a wee site I’ve started, however I’m having problems.

When I’ve made\published\preview posts, they do not appear on my page at all. It just shows me my page blank.

There might be a cause to this, however it could be something else. I made my simple web[age before I installed WordPress, and I jsut installed it today. When I click “Visit site” I go the the page I had already made, same with previewing posts on pages but with the actual post. Even if I attempt to preview the themes, I get the page I’ve already made.

The pages (I’ve made multiple of them) I made are simple html pages linked to each other, with a simple css file to help style them (with a navigation bar and gradiant background made by an image).

Is there anyway I can either put the posts on the pages I’ve made, or merge my pages with wordpress?
