It’s been several months since I’ve tested Postie on this new site I’ve been working on, so I can’t say for certain this didn’t happen before – but I think I would remember it.

I’m running Postie v1.9.55, WP 5.7.2, and a child theme for the Benevolence theme from WPLook.

When I click the “Process Email” button, I get a page (inside the admin interface) that just says

    [envelope icon] Postie Settings (v1.9.55)

    at the top.

There’s no confirmation message or error message. When I refresh the page, everything seems normal.

    Is this expected behavior?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This is not expected behavior, however, it does happen on some combination of operating system, web server and PHP version. To date I have not been able to figure you what element of that combination causes the lack of info.

The true test is whether your emails are imported as posts.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes, the posts are getting imported.

    FWIW, here are the details

    Postie v1.9.55
    WP 5.7.2
Child theme for the Benevolence theme from WPLook (but it also happens with the Twenty Twenty-One theme active)
PHP version is 7.4.14 (Supports 64bit values)
    Web server Apache
    Server architecture Linux 4.9.159-vs2.3.9.8-vs+ x86_64
    Host: DreamHost

    I’m running Windows 10, v 21H1

    The issue happens in
    Firefox 89.0 (64-bit)
    Chrome 91.0.4472.101 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Edge Version 91.0.864.48 (Official build) (64-bit)

If it ever stops happening for me, maybe I’ll remember this thread and come back to update the info 😉
