process_data is not defined

So I have setup your plugin to show results on the same page (ajax) and when I would click the button nothing would happen and no results of my custom post type posts would show. Now, I tried removing the button just to see is there any other way I could see some results and through the chrome inspector I saw an error saying “$(formid).find(‘input, textarea, button, select’).change(function(){
process_data($(this));”
I created a div with an id ‘filter’ in my template and assigned it through back end as #filter so I’m not sure what seems to be the problem.
