This is actually not related to WooCommerce. The description area works just like any content area in WordPress. What you upload is what you get. So you have two options. Either you upload an image that is the correct size or you use the builtin WordPress native tools for image editing. You can get to the tools when you upload the image.
Thanks splashingpixels – I use the image in the front panel on the homepage (http://landscape.martinspencephotography.co.uk/)
how would I use it there and in the shop? but different sizes?
Just photoshop it to a different size of your choice and upload it anywhere you want.
OK – thanks again..
Any idea what size Images need to be for that description box?
I think that would be up to you right? It depends on your site/layout/design/size…etc…There is no limit…
great – i managed to do it – http://landscape.martinspencephotography.co.uk/shop/cranny-falls/
how do I get reid of the image above th product description? there’s no need for both now.
Actually you’re going backwards…You should leave the top image and get rid of the one in the description…That is the normal way of doing this.
ah ok π
how do i get rid of the one in the description?
oh – any idea wher ei would change the sub header font? i.e. Cranny Falls in this instance – http://landscape.martinspencephotography.co.uk/shop/cranny-falls/
