  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. The ” You didn’t configured a product feed yet” notification means you did not create a Google Shopping feed configuration yet.

Did you make sure to follow all steps as laid out in this tutorial?

Hello yes i followed all of these instructions a number of time adding custom entries and just leaving the default. All variations result in the same error.

Pressing save results in this error message ”” You didn’t configured a product feed yet”

That message shows only when you did not complete a feed configuration.

Can you share with us the screenshots of the feed configuration you tried?

I tried using the default feed configuration for google shopping. Like i said i also applied a few custom entries. In every instance it fails. I have tried a handful of times.

Can you share with us all the screenshots of the feed configuration you tried so we can see what you did?

I used your default entries and the same happens – WITHOUT adding anything.
You can see your default entries. I am unable to upload screen shots but it is happening WITHOUT me changing / adding anything too.

You can use screencapture / sharing tools like this: https://snipboard.io

When you are absolutely sure you followed all steps exactly as laid out in the tutorial than the plugin will create a product feed for sure. What happened after you pressed the “Generate product feed” button on the last step of the feed configuration (the Conversion & Google Analytics settings page)? Where is the plugin taking you and does it show an error or blank page?

This is not correct because it DOES NOT generate a product feed. I have followed your steps to the letter.

After saving the mapping categories (suggested by your plugin at random) it returns message as above

”You didn’t configured a product feed yet”

    (@neilross80)

    OK IM AM WRONG !!

It was not clear to me from the ”Feed filters and rules” there was another step from the orange buttons.

I must have missed this in the instructions.

    My apologies

When configuring a new feed the plugin is taking you through these steps:

    • 1. Set general feed configurations
    • 2. Set the field mappings
    • 3. Set the category mappings
    • 4. Set filters and rules
    • 5. Set conversion and Google Analytics settings

And only after the 5th step it will actually start creating a product feed, not in any of the steps before yet.

One last question having now created feed – does it require a manual upload first (unless one waits until scheduled time)

You can wait for the first scheduled fetch of Google indeed however when you want Google to get your products sooner than that you can do a manual fetch and processing from within your merchant center yes.

Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved and our support is no longer required I am going to close this topic for now for housekeeping-reasons. Do not hesitate to reach out to us again when you need our help.
