I suspect it might have occurred due to a conflict with your theme or any of the third-party plugins. There is a high possibility that the product query is getting modified due to the conflict which is leading you to this issue.
Could you please check your theme and other installed plugins on your website one by one? Hopefully, it will help you figure out the root cause of the issue.
