The Category Filter is locked, because you are on that particular Category, so the other filters will be applied to only show within the Category you are actually are on, in your example on “Moms Maternity” Category, in order to filter in all Categories you should go to Shop Page instead, there you can use any Category to filter on.
For the above logic to work you will need to have the Logical Relationship on “AND” in order to work like that: https://share.getcloudapp.com/L1uQDym9 so if you want to filter in all other Categories despite the current Category is selected, please change it to “OR”.

Oh I see. Is there a way to avoid the locking tho?
Also there are times it doesn’t filter even when it’s locked?

Unfortunately it is not possible, if it won’t be locked, then there won’t be any use of having the filter on the Category page, so it is not possible to uncheck it while you are filtering on the active Category page.
No, it shouldn’t happen, when on active category and it is checked, products from other categories shouldn’t be showing while loading the page.

I see. I found out why it wasn’t filtering tho. Thank you!
So sorry but another thing, I noticed how the products don’t clear up when pressed clear. Even if you click on a different category and unclick the previous category I still find the unchecked category at the last page.
Ex.
– click on ‘on sale’ from the menu nav
– press clear (items don’t clear up or reset)
– click on a different category on the side bar
– go to the last item page (the ‘on sale’ items are still there)

In your example the On Sale is preloaded, since you are visiting it via a link, not by applying the filter via Ajax, so that preloaded On Sale products can not be cleared in this situation, see in my screen recording for example, at the first half of the video you will see the On Sale can be cleared, because the filtering is done on the page and not loading the link by a Menu Link, the second half I am loading the “On Sale” menu link there the filter can not clear the “On Sale” products they are preloaded by that link, but if you add any other filter by Ajax, that can be cleared; eg. I select a Category it will show that Category + On Sale, but if I clear the selected Category will be cleared, so the preloaded On Sale remains: https://share.getcloudapp.com/yAulB9Zb

Hello!
Sorry I wasn’t able to read the last message but it all worked out fine back then. Went back to the website and now the problem again after updating… when selecting a category on the nav, the side bar locks but stopped filtering again… it was fine a month ago but after updating it kinda went back to not filtering again…
