Product Settings > Catalog Design > Product page and check the “Enable lightbox on product image” checkbox.
If this doesn’t help could you please provide the URL with the example?

Here is an example of one product. None of them work. The light box is clicked and has been. But for some reason wont work.

All scripts are moved to the footer which causes the jQuery error. You shouldn’t move the jQuery script to footer.
Ok, so exactly how do I move the jquery script?

It’s probably a js minifying plugin or something similar.
Actually in the 2.2.4 version this has been modified and should support moving the jquery to the footer.
