Hi @farcomcw,
I appreciate you sharing your concern, and I can see why this would be frustrating, especially if everything was working fine before.
I checked your site and noticed that the shop and product archive pages appear visually scrambled, with layout issues and missing thumbnails. Here’s a screenshot for reference: https://snipboard.io/7VnShA.jpg, https://snipboard.io/2boeIK.jpg. I also noticed the site takes a long while to load, which could be contributing to the rendering problems.
Here are a few suggestions to help troubleshoot and resolve this:
- Clear your site and browser cache to ensure you’re seeing the latest version of your pages.
- Temporarily switch to a default theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four to rule out theme-related conflicts. If the layout returns to normal, the issue likely stems from your current theme.
- Disable any optimization or caching plugins and test again. These can sometimes interfere with how product images and styles load.
- Check for plugin conflicts by disabling all plugins except WooCommerce, then reactivating them one by one while testing the shop page: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.
- Review your WooCommerce image settings under WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Display. Make sure thumbnail sizes are correctly configured and regenerate thumbnails if needed.
- Run a speed test using tools like GTmetrix or PageSpeed Insights to identify any performance bottlenecks that might be affecting page load and layout rendering.
Let me know what you find after trying these steps. Looking forward to your response.
I tried all and still no luck. The only one I could not try was “Review your WooCommerce image settings under WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Display.” I did not see that optio for Display.
Hi @farcomcw,
Thank you for getting back to us with the update. To move the troubleshooting forward, it would be helpful to run a conflict test in isolation.
Please set up a staging site by either creating one from your live site or copying your live site to a subdomain or directory. Once that’s done, switch your theme to Storefront and deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce.
After setting this up, kindly share the link to the staging site along with the system status report from WooCommerce > Status > Get Report > Copy for Support. You can paste the report to Pastebin and share the link here.
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
If you have a few minutes, we’d love if you could leave us a review: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/
