    Good Day,

I am trying to find out what can be the best way to setup new product having 3 different component

I have VAPE Shope and I got new brand having 3 different sub-items.

I know how to setup variations but this time I get stuck.

Bottle 1 I have qty 56 and this is used as base for everything

Bottle 2 have 3 different sub items

    Bottle 2-2 I have qty 20

    Bottle 2-2 I have qty 20

    Bottle2-3 I have qty 16

Bottle 3 have 10 different flavors

    Bottle 3-1 I have qty 6

    Bottle 3-2 I have qty 6

    Bottle 3-3 I have qty 6

    Bottle 3-4 I have qty 6

    Bottle 3-5 I have qty 6

    Bottle 3-6 I have qty 6

    Bottle 3-7 I have qty 6

    Bottle 3-8 I have qty 6

    Bottle 3-9 I have qty 4

    Bottle 3-10 I have qty 4

The above can be added in a different way to get 1 final product

    Bottle 1 + Bottle 2-1 and Bottle 3-1 or

Bottle 1 + Bottle 2-3 and bottle 3-1 and so on.

Now I have to sort this out to keep trace stock in all 3 bottles qty

any idea how to do this setup.

    Thanks

    Hi @petmak

From your explanation, it seems like you’re dealing with a complex product structure. In this case, I would recommend setting up a Grouped Product for the main product, and then create Simple Products for each component (i.e., each bottle type and flavor).

    Here’s a brief step-by-step guide:

    1. Create Simple Products for each bottle type and flavor (e.g., Bottle 1, Bottle 2-1, Bottle 2-2, Bottle 2-3, Bottle 3-1, and so on). While creating these, make sure to set the stock quantity correctly for each.
    2. Create a Grouped Product for the main product. In the “Linked Products” tab in the product data metabox, search for the Simple Products you created in step 1 in the “Grouped Products” field. This will link them to the Grouped Product.

With this setup, WooCommerce will automatically manage the stock levels of each component as they’re sold within the Grouped Product.

Remember, customers can select the quantities of each component they want when purchasing the Grouped Product.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
