Okay, so it seems there is no solution to this after reporting the problem 9 days ago.
I recomend for product tabs this plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/yikes-inc-easy-custom-woocommerce-product-tabs/ , was using it before the woocommerce booster plugin and it was working fine, tested it today and still works fine.

Other parts of the plugin are broken as well for my site. Email is again not being repplied to. I have the free and plus version and both are having the same problems.

It looks that update WooCommerce to Versie: 3.1.1 solved the problem for me 🙂

Still not having any reply from the author is a bit… sad.
Your database might still be full of “\\\\\\\”.
I had 3 extra tabs per product, “specs”, “includes” and “video”, and that for about 150 product entries so I was really happy with this bug. Removed the extra tabs and put the info in the main tab.

I’m cleaning it up by hand in the product pages but some orders have a lot of slashes in the shipping description and I’ll just leave them there.

I was still testing WooCommerce 3.0 on my testsite, so the slashes are no problem for me.

Did I understand correctly – this is solved with WooCommerce 3.1.1? I’ve just tried to replicate the issue on my test server, but it seems that everything is working fine on WC 3.1.1?
