    Hey!

    Now Google is threatning to close our shop because the prices doesn’t equal to the crawl. I discovered that I didnt use the id_groups and saw the documentation you guys provide and now added them. BUT, here comes the other problem:

    We have around 1 500 products. 90% have variants. We got attributes like color, size, volume, packs etc.

    This meean when I need to populate the Title suffix for the variations, this becomes impossible as I got 200+ atttributes. How is it supposed to be done? And is there any way to actually add current varrtion attribute? Example:

    Each product will pickup its attributes.

    So if a product have attribute size it will be:

    Product title + {size}

    If a product have attribute “Animal” it would be:

    Product title + {animal}
    ..

    Or? Sorry if this is confusing, it’s confusing for me more then you 😛

    Hello,

    You can choose “Product title without variable attributes” and combine it with one or two important attributes (combine source fields).

    @aukejomm Thank you for the reply. But here comes the problem. Some produts have attribute X and Z, others have attributes A & B. We got 100+ attributes. So there is no attribute that is used for ALL products.

    Any ideas how to overcome this? Otherwise if we got 40 variants, all will have the same Title since we cant add attribute to the title.

    Is there any way to add {universalattribute} where it automatically picks the attribute names?

    Example:
    #1 Product Titel: Fluffy dog
    Attribute: Color
    pa_color: Brown | Black | Grey

    # Product titel: Shampoo
    Attribute: Animal
    pa_animal: Dog | Cat | Elephant

    So when using Product title and combine it souce fields with {attribute} it will automatically pick up pa_color for the #1, and pa_animal for #2?

    Well no I am sorry but that is not easy.
    The difficulte lays in the software needs to know when to use the pa color of pa_animal.

    If you canfigure that out you could use a condition.
    So fir instance you could use a condition to use a different attribute depending on cateogry.

    @aukejomm Ah Ok. Ok, last question. I am really new to the feed-world:

    What if i add ALL attributes as suffix. I guess the feed will only populate the attributes that exits, if they exits?

    Example is product variants. The group_id is only added for the products with variants. Would the same work as above?

    I gotta say, other than how easy your plugin is, it’s worth paying for the support alone, outstanding and fast (this is the third time I ask questions that gets replied within a hour or two).

    Well, that would be a possibility I guess.
    Nevertheless, you would like to have a title that can be read by humans what would be not the case if you go that route.

    One other thing you could do is to set up a custom post field as title. Or even use the small description or Yoast SEO title… That way you would have more control over the title and can even optimize the title for conversion.
