Hi, I am having the same problem. I confirmed it is the theme, because when I switched over to Twenty Seventeen the problem went away. Is there a fix for this?
Ok so SOLUTION is:
“Customizer > WooCommerce > SIngle Product > check the eye “Quantity and add to cart” for me it was uncheck, the udapte disabled this optiion”

Actually, I have solved this issue, so you just need to update to 1.5.8. Let me know if you still have an issue with this after the update.

I have a problem. I dont see the variaton on single product page.
I’m going to “Appearance > Customize” and only appears “Widgets”. It does not appear the rest of the menus.
I use the Child Theme but when i activate other theme, for exemple the “OceanWP Theme” the problem is gone.
It will be because of the Child Theme?
