    Hi,

it seems like all product variations have disappeared from wordpress administration. They are still visible on front end and people can order them, but I can’t see them in admin.
When editing product, it says there are X variations, (5 in the screenshot), but they are not shown http://prntscr.com/oney2e
They are also not visible in the WooCommerce Stock Manager plugin – upon clicking on variations button, no variations appear.
Also, when I manually create a new order in WooCommerce -> orders -> new order and click add product, only the parent products appear in search box, not variations.

I even tried connecting to WC API and getting /products/<product id>/variations but nothing is received.

However, they surely are still in database, because order logs show variation stock being decreased.

How can I fix this problem?

    Thank you.

  • Try WooCommerce > Status > Tools, an click Clear transients. I don’t expect that will fix it.

Your status report shows a long list of plugins, and its likely one of them is not playing nicely. Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce. It should work now. Then reactivate one-by-one and check to try to identify which one is causing the problem.

    Hi @vitlib,

As Lorro suggested, you can go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools, an click Clear transients.

Also, while in here, you can click on the Product lookup tables to regenerate them. This will ensure that WooCommerce is checking the products and aligning the variations with the proper parent product so they show correctly.

If this does not work, then it is most likely a plugin conflict. Be sure to have a staging site, and then follow these steps:

(You can read more about plugin and theme conflicts here:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/ )

The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to do the following:

    1. Temporarily switch your theme back to the Storefront or Twenty Seventeen Theme.
    2. Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and your shipping/payment gateways.
    3. Test to see if the issue has been resolved.

If that resolves the issue, then one-by-one you can switch back your theme and re-enable your plugins, testing in between, until you find the one causing the conflict.

    Hi @vitlib,

I am going to close this thread for now as we have not heard back from you, however if you are still having the issue just reply to this and we will re-open it.

If you have other issues please open a new thread and let us know!
