Products Not Syncing

    Hi!

    I just installed the plugin and it synced with my account and list, but it doesn’t seem to sync the products at all. I’m trying to create a purchase follow up, but on Mailchimp I can’t pick any product as a trigger either (they simply don’t show up).

    Here’s the message I’m getting on the Sync tab ( I replaced the account and list names for privacy’s sake):

    Sync Progress

    Account Connected: Name of My Account

    List Connected: Name of the Connected List

    Products: 0/4

    Orders: 0/7

    Also, the RESYNC button is gone.

    I’d appreciate it if you could help me out. Thanks!

    Hey @pnksandwich,

    Thanks for the post. I’m sorry to hear about this – does refreshing the “Sync Status” tab clear this stuck behavior up? If not, let’s go ahead and grab some environmental details to get started with the trouble shooting process. Could you please reply back with the details found in your WooCommerce System Status report? That will allow us to rule out a few potential conflicts. That being said, if you don’t feel super comfortable posting that on a public forum, sending that information over to the MailChimp support team along with a link to this forum post is also an option. If you’d prefer to go that route, please reach out following the steps outlined here: MailChimp Support Options.

    Hi,

    I got the same problem. Just installed mailchimp plugin yesterday and its not syncing and no resync button is showing.

    Hey @pnksandwich,

    Thank you for taking the time to get back to us with that information! I’m seeing that there is at least one plugin installed that will cause syncing conflicts – MailChimp para WordPress por ibericode – 4.1.3. If you deactivate that temporarily and all other plugins aside from WooCommerce and MailChimp for WooCommerce, for the sake of testing, do things sync as expected? We have seen many times that when plugins that perform similar functions are installed they can conflict, and the ibericode developed plugin is known to cause syncing issues with MailChimp for WooCommerce when both are installed and active. If things work as intended after temporarily deactivating the other installed plugins, I would then advise reactivating them one by one to be sure that no other plugins are also causing conflicts. That being said, your system does meet the WooCommerce Server requirements, so that is excellent news.

    Also – @nikeri – thank you for joining the thread! Do you mind replying back with your WooCommerce System Status report as well so we can rule out plugin conflicts on your end, too? Thanks!

    Thanks @mcsupport! I tried disabling Mailchimp For WordPress but the issue persists. I’ll try disabling other MC related plugins to see if I can find the issue.

    @nikeri Would you mind sharing what plugins you’re using? If we have any in common, maybe we could pin point the culprit 🙂 Here’s my list:

    @pnksandwich we dont have any of the same plugins except ibericode mailchimp, which i also deactivated without success.. Im on Divi Theme

    @nikeri Nope, not yet. Just ran the plugin on my local server, using the Twenty Fourteen theme and it doesn’t even go past the API tab. The only other plugin I left installed is Woocommerce, so I’ve no idea what the issue is. I just noticed the plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest version of WordPress (4.7.5), so that could be it.

    Edit: Forgot to add that I tested Saint Systems Mailchimp for Woocommerce plugin and my list synced with no problem. Too bad I can’t create a specific product follow-up with that one. If you’re looking to create a non-specific follow-up (a general “thank you” email for any product purchase) maybe you could use it for the moment.

    Having same issue here with “mailchimp for woocommerce”. after clicking on sync tab nothing exported to my mailchimp account. No mailchimp related plugin was installed .

    Hey @pnksandwich,

    Thank you so much for all of this detailed information. I sent all of this along internally for our developers to take a closer look – this certainly is not expected behavior. Do you mind trying to change the theme to the Bazaar theme just to be totally sure there is no conflict with Twenty Fourteen or the Divi theme? Thanks! In the meantime, our developers are taking a closer look at this. I’ll update as soon as I’m able.

    Thanks again for all of your help – after chatting with the plugin devs I have a couple more questions for you. When you reply could you also include any errors you have logged on your end that are MailChimp for WooCommerce specific? Also, after temporarily deactivating the other installed plugins did uninstalling and re-installing MailChimp for WooCommerce help? It may be good to note that typically when two plugins are installed are supposed to perform similar or the same functions they can conflict. I saw that with both setups a similar sounding plugin was installed – that may be the culprit. Uninstalling and reinstalling MailChimp for WooCommerce after switching themes and temporarily deactivating other installed plugins would shed some light on that. Additionally, the developer informed me that it would be possible to get that re-sync button to re-appear by editing the URL of the admin page – you’ll want to add resync=1 at the end.

    @mcsupport Hi Pearl!

    I did try uninstalling and installing a few times, but it made no difference.

    I checked the log on my client’s site and there weren’t any mailchimp related errors. For a moment I thought there could be an issue with the WC integration of Restrict Content Pro, but I deactivated the plugin and I still couldn’t get the products to sync.

    I installed Baazar Lite on my local environment and I still couldn’t get past the “Connect” Tab, but upon checking the error log I think this could be a problem on my end that I still need to check out.
