I am using UserPro and have been for years but I am fed up with the issues that plague the plugin. This Ultimate Member looks like a solid alternative but one thing that is very important is to be able to create a universal profile template that all users will have their default profile set to.

Is there a feature to create a template as an admin and then allow users to modify of edit from withing their dashboard or settings?

Hi @oddmanout,

At this time, UM does not have built in function to do what you need. Unfortunately, this will require customization on your end. We are not able to provide any support when it comes to customizing the plugin. You can however visit the documentation page for developers or our github page for code example to provide guidance.

Thank you for the reply. So can you explain what will the profiles look like for each user? I don’t mind writing the code but need to know where I am hooking into. When a User registers and I approve them, what will they see on their profile page? I hope that makes sense. Thanks!
