Profile edition – Issue with “admin only” fields

Hi there !

We are using UM 2.1.1 and I assume we came accross a pretty big issue…

On our main form, we have a few fields that are supposed to display everywhere but are only editable by admins. However, users should be able to see them when editing their profile. This was working well before the 2.1 upgrade.

We are now facing the following situation where :
– Everything works well when an admin edits a user profile
– When the user edits himself his profile (usually for the second time within a session), values of these fields are not retrieved… and so when he validates his profile edition, values for these fields are resetted / deleted !

Additionnal info :
– No cache plugin or server cache or any CDN
– WP 5.3 (same with 5.2.4)
– All Overrides deactivated
– Checked all 2.1 migration instructions (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/version-2-1-4/)
– Using also a licence for UM Woocommerce
