Hello @arvindwp. Thanks for your interest in our plugin. While RegistrationMagic offers a great set of features, given your requirements, we would like to suggest our other plugin ProfileGrid to you.
ProfileGrid has the feature to display members’ directory. It allows searching for users based on custom fields from their profiles. Search can filter the results by First Name by default and can be configured for other options too.

The ProfileGrid seems to be the perfect fit. Thank you for the suggestion. Let me dive deep once for details and I’ll soon take a decision. I will revert here itself if there’s a specific question. Thanks again @metagauss

Sorry. There’s something seriously wrong. It conflicted with login system and started restricting even the admin login. (It added PG shortcode to the default login page, and that started messing up).
No follow up please.
Hi @arvindwp. We are sorry to hear about the issue.
The normal workflow of ProfileGrid and RegistrationMagic integration allows for seamless setup. ProfileGrid has its own set of separate shortcodes. But do note that RegistrationMagic and ProfileGrid create the login page with the same name and the latter does not replace the former’s shortcode.
In our test environments, we couldn’t replicate the problem you mentioned. To provide helpful information to resolve it, we will need some further details from your side. If you are fine with that, do let us know.
